Pet Blessing at Eastwood Mall Open Park on October 7, 2012

Join us in this wonderful activity. Meet pet owners, find playmates for your pets, and have them blessed at Eastwood Mall Open Park on October 7, 2012 (Sunday) 5:00 PM.

See you there!

About the Event:

"Eastwood City once again plays host to adorable and cuddly pets from all over the Metro as it holds its annual pet blessing ceremony this coming October 7.

Celebrating its 8th year, Eastwood City’s Annual Pet Blessing in partnership with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) will be held at the Eastwood Mall Open Park.

Registration for this celebration in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, starts at 12:00 NN.

“This is our way of showing our valued customers that we are truly a pet-loving community and an advocate of responsible pet ownership,” said Megaworld First Vice President and Commercial Division Head Kevin L. Tan.

Prior to the blessing ritual, a procession within Eastwood City will take place followed by a Holy Mass. The Mass Celebrator will then bless each pet while being carried by their pet owners.

Meanwhile, pet owners are encouraged to put extra effort to dress up their pets if they are to vie for the special awards to be given out before the blessing proper.

Among the honors to be given to deserving pets are Early Bird Award (for the first to register), Best Dressed Award (the most fashionable), Head Turner Award (for the most unique), Life of the Party Award (the most active and compelling) and Star of the Night (the most adorable).
Capping off the remarkable evening are live performances from various artists, who will serenade the participants after the Pet Blessing.

The 8th Eastwood City Annual Pet Blessing is made possible through the help of PAWS, Pet One, Frontline Plus, The Philippine Star, Manila Bulletin, Animal Scene, Crossover 105.1, ETC, 2nd Avenue and Jack TV. "

You Are Invited to Hazel's Birthday Paw-tey at the PAWS Office, Quezon City on August 18, 2012

I'm happy and grateful that the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) allowed me to celebrate my birthday at their compound (along Aurora Blvd., near Ateneo) on August 18 (Saturday), 2pm onwards =) I'm thinking of activities like orientation and tour of PAWS, sharing of pet or animal stories, sharing of talent/s (who wants to perform? =), raffle of PAWS products, etc.

Who are interested to come and join the fun? =) Just leave a comment or contact me at (+63)908-3768088. However, instead of giving me a gift, I encourage attendees to donate to PAWS in cash or in kind (dog & cat food, old newspapers, toys, etc. Please CLICK HERE to see a complete list of what they need). My boyfriend Joey Nespral has already decided to donate 20 kilos of cat food worth P2000 =) But if you still want to give me a gift, it would be more than welcome hehe =)

Please bring umbrellas and raincoats just in case it rains. We would need that in the PAWS tour of their compound. You can bring kids as long as they can be controlled, in other words, "hindi pasaway" since there are cats roaming about in the area. The children (and adults) might sustain injuries if they bug the cats too much. You can also bring your family and friends who love animals. Babies are welcome =)

If you are going and you'll bring a person or people with you, please inform me their names and the total number of people coming along. Please also reply soonest if you can come for the food head count. See you there =)
